Phone Makers Now Testing 12GB SanDisk microSDHC

SanDisk 12GB microSDHC Memory Card

SanDisk Corporation (“We Invented Flash”) has flicked out new 12GB microSDHC memory cards for testing and evaluation to major phone makers.

The 12GB SanDisk microSDHC card boasts the highest capacity in its class today, no mean feat considering its very tiny form factor. SanDisk says the new card can store a combination of 1,500 songs, 3,600 photos and 24.5 hours of video.

Who is it for? It’s for the young set who have gone bonkers over their hip and high-tech mobile phones, so they can store all those music and videos they downloaded from the Internet. Games too, and all those pics. (Learn all about it at wakeupyourphone.com.)

You may wait a little while before you can buy the 12GB microSDHC, but the 8GB version is now out for $140.
