Phanfare to Yahoo! Photos Users: “Escape to Us, We’ll Give You Six Months Free”

Phanfare Logo

Phanfare
is offering six months free service and unlimited storage to Yahoo! Photos subscribers whose pictures will soon be deleted.

Yahoo! Photos is closing down its services on September 20 for some users in favor of Yahoo’s recently acquired Flickr photo-sharing website. Yahoo has released tools to let members move their photos to alternative sites.

Yahoo of course wants their subscribers to transfer to Flickr, but the company will also allow members to go to other sites like Snapfish, Shutterfly, Photobucket and Kodak Gallery.

Phanfare hopes to snag some of the migrating subscribers, inviting them to follow the easy instructions at www.phanfare.com/yahoo. The company allows its customers to access and download all of their full-size originals at any time, for no additional cost. Like all Phanfare customers, those customers who move photos from Yahoo! Photos get unlimited storage for all of their videos and photos.

Phanfare is available for $54.95 per year, $6.95 per month or $299.95 for a lifetime membership and is PC and Mac compatible. A 30-day free trial is available via download for both Mac and PC. The Phanfare service is free to nonprofits, schools, and religious groups.
