Pentax Updates Firmware for K-x DSLR

Pentax K-x DSLR Camera

The new firmware for the Pentax K-x digital SLR adds 3 kinds of particular shooting effects (Preset 1, 2 and 3) on the Cross Processing function. It also assigns the green button to the Cross Processing function.

Additionally, Firmware Version 1.01 promises improved accuracy of the Battery Level Indicator under specific conditions and improved stability for general performance.

The mid-level Pentax K-x features a newly-developed 12.4-megapixel CMOS sensor, live view and movie recording. It takes its place between the entry-level K-m and pro-level Pentax K-7 DSLR.
