Pentax DSmobile 600 for On-The-Go Scanning

Pentax Imaging Co. has introduced its DSmobile 600 scanner measuring just 1.5 inches high and 11 inches long, a compact and lightweight solution for scanning on-the-go.

The 600-dpi color scanner is capable of scanning media as small as a business card up to a paper size of 8.5 x 14 inch. It is powered directly through its USB 2.0 interface so there’s no need for a battery or power cord.

This portable scanner comes with its own DSmobileSCAN software that automatically saves scanned documents in Adobe PDF. Its software bundle also includes PageManager 7 to scan and organize digitized files with the ability to view, edit, send, and save files in many formats, and TWAIN to control all scanner details and settings.
