Pandigital Launches Clear Line of Photo Frames in Europe

Pandigital has announced the European release of its PanTouch Clear line of digital photo frames, which claims to deliver a dramatic new design marked by creating the perception of ‘floating’ digital images.

Measuring just a third of an inch in terms of thickness, these frames are the thinnest on the market, the company said. The rear housing normally used in DPFs has been eliminated so the ultra-slim PanTouch Clear models can easily be hung on a wall or integrated discreetly into any other location around the home or office.

To create the floating effect, the new PanTouch Clear frames feature an 800×600 high-resolution display that appears to be floating in the surrounding glass.

The PanTouch Clear frames come in two sizes – 8in and 10.4in. Both models have an 800×600 resolution on a full colour LCD with a 4:3 true photo aspect ratio, maintaining the consumer preference for digital photo frames that emulate traditional printed photos and don’t distort or crop the digital image.
