Panasonic Lumix GF-1 Digital Camera

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1, announced last September, has earned the nod of Popular Science Magazine and will be included in its 2009 “The Best of What’s New” winners in the Gadgets category.

Panasonic touts the LUMIX GF1 as the world’s smallest and lightest system digital camera with built-in flash and packs powerful DSLR-like features and High Definition video capabilities into a compact body. It goes head-to-head against the Olympus PEN.

Another product that gained Popular Science Magazine’s attention is the Panasonic TC-P54Z1 VIERA Plasma HDTV which also won a slot in the Home Entertainment category. Both the Lumix GF1 and the TC-P54Z1 VIERA will be featured in the December 2009 issue of Popular Science Magazine.
