Panasonic Launches Next Phase of “Living in HD” Challenge for Families

Panasonic "Living in HD" Families

Panasonic has added ten more families to become part of its Living in High Definition program, an ongoing initiative designed to explore how the latest High Definition television and video technologies can enrich the American lifestyle.

The families received Panasonic HD products including a large screen 1080p Plasma HDTV, HD Camcorder, LUMIX Digital Cameras, Blu-Ray Disc player, Toughbook laptop and photo printer, home theater system and gaming system for giving creative answers to Panasonic HD-related questions like: What Does a Modern Family Mean to You? What Makes Your Family, Your Town and Your Home So Unique?

It’s a show-and-tell challenge for the families; they create videos in response to the questions showing family members how they do it. So far, there are already 14 families in the program and more will be added this December. A total of 30 families will be selected through 2008.

The ten additional families selected in this phase of the experiential program hail from Sacramento, Calif.; Highlands Ranch, Colo.; Tall Timbers, Md.; Clovis, N.M.; Vance, Ala.; Ogden, Utah; Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.; Greensburg, Pa.; Alpharetta, Ga. and Pasco, Wash.

The next challenge question is “What Type of Public Service Announcement Would Your Family Create?” and families are still welcome to join.
