Panasonic Launches Lumix Dye Sub Photo Printers

Panasonic Lumix KX-PX2 Dye Sub Photo Printer

Panasonic has launched two easy to use home printers that use dye sublimation to produce photos that last a hundred years.

The Panasonic Lumix KX-PX2 and KX-PX20 photo printers are especially well suited for Lumix cameras because unlike other home photo printers they are able to read extra information recorded onto the EXIF data by Lumix digital still cameras.

This allows the user to benefit from unique features such as “Soft skin” mode, “night scene” mode and “high sensitivity” mode of the Lumix cameras and appropriately print the photo according to how it was taken. The user also has the option to print the other metadata.

The Lumix photo printers also feature 16:9 wide aspect printing for photos captured by the Lumix cameras’ 16:9 wide aspect mode in their original format with no need for trimming.

The versatile Panasonic KX-PX2 and KX-PX20 can also print from SD memory cards, from connected PCs or from any other PictBridge-enabled digital camera.
