Olympus Unleashes the E-P2

Olympus E-P2 Digital Camera

Barely half a year after launching the retro-style PEN E-P1 Micro Four Thirds camera, Olympus is launching the E-P2 with even more power and performance. The new PEN, like the E-P1, is billed as the world’s smallest 12.3-megapixel interchangeable lens system with In-body Image Stabilization.

It’s not replacing the EP-1 in the market. The new EP-2 just adds a few more bells and whistles and will sell alongside the older model.

The new PEN adds a port where you can plug a new high resolution electronic viewfinder or an external microphone, two new Art filters, AF tracking and a new i-Enhance color booster.
