Olympus Mju Tough-6010 Digital Camera

Olympus has refreshed its Mju Tough-6000 ruggedized compact camera and called it the Mju Tough-6010. Just like its predecessor, the new Tough-6010 is waterproof up to a depth of 3m or 10ft, shockproof from drops of up to 1.5m and freezeproof to minus-10 degrees Celsius.

New is its 12-megapixel sensor, up from 10 megapixels in the Tough-6000. Olympus has also added a new Magic Filter function in the 6010 model. The Magic Filter feature consists of the Pop Art, Pinhole, Sketch and Fish-eye filter.

The Tough-6010 also sports a 2.7-inch LCD screen and a 28-102mm zoom lens. The new camera will be available in Asia in August.
