Olympus Stylus 770 SW Underwater Camera

The Technical Press Image Association (TIPA) has named the Olympus Stylus 770 SW the Best Innovative Design in Europe 2007.

The Stylus 770 is an underwater camera that is also shockproof, crushproof and freezeproof. It can withstand loads of up to 100kg, can dive to a depth of 10 metres, can survive drops from 1.5 metres and still keep shooting at a freezing -10°C.

TIPA cited the 7-megapixel Stylus 770 saying it “succeeds in combining a heavy-duty body with an elegant design.”

TIPA honours products and technologies of special distinction across a number of areas in the field of photography every year. The association membership currently comprises 30 publications across 12 European countries.
