Olympus Adds Wireless Flash Capability to SP-560UZ

Olympus SP-560UZ 18X Ultra Zoom Digital Camera

Olympus has released Firmware Version 3.1 to add wireless flash functionality for the SP-560UZ ultra-zoom digital camera.

The new firmware makes it possible for the SP-560UZ to use multiple Olympus FL-50R and FL-36R electronic flashes via wireless control, allowing for more creative possibilities with remote off-camera positioning of strobes.

Olympus SP-560UZ owners may download the latest firmware using the Olympus Master 2 software. Instructions for using strobes with the wireless system may also be downloaded from here (PDF, 93KB).
