The new Olympus µ [mju:] 1040 Crystal is all decked out in shimmering Swarovski stones, you’d think Liberace has risen to claim center stage once again. ‘Miss Thang’ would be proud: the 1040 Crystal features a glittering array of 98 Crystallized Swarovski Elements adorning its protective lens cover.

Olympus said the camera’s Midnight Black color provides a dramatic backdrop that makes the dazzling adhesive elements even more eye-catching (what, no Liberace White?).

The 10-megapixel 1040 Crystal is now available in limited quantities for about £175 ($300).
