Nikon has released WT-4 Setup Utility 1.2.0 and Thumbnail Selector 1.20 for the WT-4 wireless transmitter. The updates add support for the new D7000 DSLR and compatibility with Mac OS X 10.6.4 and 64-bit Windows OS systems.
WT-4 Setup Utility 1.2.0 also fixes a Profile saving bug. When attempting to create a profile for a computer with a name that exceeded 40 characters, the error message The Profile could not be saved was sometimes displayed and setup could not be completed. This issue has been resolved.
The Nikon WT-4 enables image transfer and camera control from a computer connected with a camera via USB cable, and remote-control software Camera Control Pro 2. The WT-4, when connected with a supported Nikon digital SLR, permits image transfer to a computer connected wirelessly or using Ethernet cable, or to an FTP server. Wireless printing is also made possible via computer.
