Nikon Inc. will be at PhotoPlus Expo in New York, from Thursday October 23, through Saturday October 25, and they will be displaying the whole range of their products headlined by the successful Nikon D90 DSLR (what, no Canon 5D MKII counter strike?).

Nikon says they will be celebrating photography’s past, present and future at the expo, so they are showcasing “Over 50 Years of Photojournalism” with legendary photographer Bill Eppridge. Pulitzer Prize winning AP and CNN correspondent Peter Arnett will host as Eppridge discusses his storied career spanning more than five decades. Eppridge has been a staple of American political history with his iconic collection, including images ranging from the civil rights movement, the American debut of the Beatles, to the powerful image of a dying Robert F. Kennedy cradled in the arms of a busboy.

Nikon will also host a full schedule of highly regarded professional photographers demonstrating their legendary work through interactive lectures and energetic photo shoots where users can learn from some of the best in the business. These photographers will demonstrate Nikon imaging products including the Nikon D3, D300 and D700 cameras.

Nikon’s exhibit will be at Booth 501 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
