Nikon & National Geographic Channel Asia Announce “Yellow to Me” Photo Contest 2006 Winners

Nikon and National Geographic, which both feature the color yellow in their corporate logos, announced today the winners of the 2006 “Yellow to Me” photo contest which ran from Oct. 23-Dec. 24 for participants across the Asia and the Middle East regions

Grand Prize went to Andi Sucirta of Indonesia for his entry “Friendship,” while the Passionate Expression Award was garnered by China’s Xu Shi Wei for his “My World” entry. They both take home a brand new Nikon D80 dSLR camera complete with the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED lens, battery and speedlight plus a few more goodies from National Geographic.

Contest organizers said the “Yellow to Me” Photo Contest aims to bring people around the world to share the passion for life and beauty that are at the heart of the digital imaging experience.
