Nikon D300 Field Test in Antarctica

Nikon D300 Field Test in Antarctica

Dutch photographer Jan Vermeer has posted his review of the new Nikon D300 after an extreme field test in the sub-freezing environment of Antarctica. The special journey aimed to capture the emperor penguin in its natural habitat.

Vermeer’s report is in the German edition of LetsGoDigital; you may use software translation services which are freely available on the Internet to get its gist although Mark Peters gives us a very good intro in English.

The Nikon D300 SLR passed the Antarctic test with flying colors, Jan writes, but that is not surprising. What is astonishing are the splendid photographs of the magnificent penguins and the jaw-dropping, in-your-face beauty of the Antarctic region!
