Nik Software Now Shipping Viveza Plug-in for Aperture

Viveza by Nik Software

Nik Software is now shipping the Viveza plug-in for Aperture 2.1, the photo editing and management software from Apple. The Viveza plug-in allows Aperture users to selectively control light and color in photographic images inside the Aperture application.

Viveza is powered by Nik Software’s U-Point technology. To make adjustments to an image, users simply place U Point powered Color Control Points directly on colors or objects in an image (such as sky, skin, grass, etc.) then adjust easy-to-use sliders for brightness, contrast, color, etc. Viveza automatically selects objects and creates masks based on where the user places a Color Control Point.

All registered customers of Viveza are eligible for a free download of Viveza for Apple Aperture 2.1. To obtain the free upgrade, log in to your account, select Viveza from your registered products list, and download the Aperture version. Both the Adobe Photoshop and Apple Aperture 2.1 versions of Viveza use the same product key.

Viveza retails for $250; a free 15-day trial version is available for download from their site.
