Nik Software Announces Viveza 2

Nik Software has announced Viveza 2 for Photoshop, Lightroom and Aperture. The software plugin offers what the company touts as a complete range of new and powerful selective and global adjustments for fast and efficient photo editing. It utilizes Nik Software’s award-winning U Point technology, no more complicated selections or layer masks. The user just clicks and moves the slider to achieve a desired effect.

With U Point technology, users can quickly select areas of an image to adjust by pointing and clicking and then using simple to use sliders to adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, structure, red, green, blue, hue, and warmth in a fraction of the time needed by other tools.

Viveza 2 will retail for $200 when it hits stores shelves in December. Customers who already own Viveza can upgrade for $100 while customers who have purchased Viveza after September 22, 2009 will be eligible for a free upgrade to Viveza 2.
