New Product Introduction: Canon PIXMA All-In-One Photo Printer

Designed specifically for the home user, Canon’s new seven-color all-in-one photo printer promises long-lasting, lab quality prints at an estimated price of $400. The new PIXMA All-In-One prints up to a 9600 x 2400 dpi color resolution using a state-of-the-art print head that releases ink droplets as small as one picoliter.

Canon claims a printing speed of 35 seconds for a traditional borderless 4 x 6 print. Up to eight slides, twelve negatives, and film can be scanned using the PIXMA All-In-One’s built-in adapter. The printer also features a vibrant 3.5-inch TFT and Canon’s patented Easy-Scroll wheel, allowing ease of use such as one would find on an iPod or other MP3 player.

In addition to its uses as an advanced photo printer, the PIXMA All-In-One can copy black-and-white office documents with up to a 30 page-per-minute speed and color documents at a rate of 22 pages per minute.
