New Lensbabies Have Arrived

Lensbabies (www.lensbabies.com) put three infant products up for adoption yesterday.

In addition to their selective focus SLR camera lenses (Lensbaby 2.0 and The Original Lens Baby), they now offer: the Lensbaby 0.6X Wide Angle/Macro Conversion Lens, the Lensbaby 1.6X Telephoto Conversion Lens, and the Lensbaby Wide Angle/Telephoto Kit, which includes the 1.6X Telephoto Conversion Lens and the 0.6X Wide Angle/Macro Conversion.

The earlier Lensbaby products featured a 50mm fixed focal length. The new 0.6X Wide Angle Conversion and the 1.6X Telephoto Conversion Lens allow for focal length changes (30mm and 80mm, respectively) and, because of their flexible lens tubing, allow photographers to move the ‘Sweet Spot’ from the center of the image to any position within the viewfinder.

The Wide Angle Conversion should retail for $59, the Telephoto converter $29, and the kit containing both for $89.
