ROM-burning Nero is showcasing its latest software suite at the on-going 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. They’re there at the Microsoft booth, #7144 Central Hall, and at Nero’s very own booth at South Hall 4, #36226.
The Nero 8 software suite has been enhanced for Windows Vista. It offers users a complete multimedia package that allows them to organize and manage their digital lives, as well as create and edit digital content.
Nero 8 enables users to author and playback HD-DVD content; play and stream digital media through their digital home; rip, burn and back-up discs faster and easier, and more.
Among its Vista-specific enhancements are:
• Nero DiscCopy gadget: Gives users the ability to copy a disc with just one click and rests in the Windows Vista Sidebar, making it fast and simple to move content.
• Nero RichPreview: Easily browse and preview audio, video and images without opening it. Previews can be completed via Windows Explorer and/or the Nero FileOpenDialogue within Windows Vista.
• Live Icons: This feature streamlines the user’s ability to quickly view content with enhanced browsing of thumbnails, support for a wide range of multimedia files and the embedded album art for Nero Digital audio files.
