National Geographic Invites People to Join Infinite Photograph

Infinite Photograph As Seen on Earth

The National Geographic is inviting people to join the Infinite Photograph – As Seen on Earth, “a photo mosaic of stunning images that illustrate the awesome beauty of our world.”

The Infinite Photograph is a photo-mosaic portrait of the Earth as seen through your camera. It’s made up of hundreds of photos of the natural world.

When you go to view the Infinite Photograph at the greenguide.com, you’ll first be presented with what appears to be a single photo with a yellow square on it. You can drag the yellow square around; double-clicking on the square progressively presents small thumbnails of images until you reach a single photograph that leads to a gallery of images submitted by a particular photographer.

You need to have a National Geographic account to join.
