It is an online file storage service essentially, with file sharing thrown in for good measure. myfabrik offers to serve as a conduit for large files and personal media, and this could be of use to photographers who just want to have a secure storage online, or collaborate with other photographers.
But myfabrik has broader applications as well in storing and sharing not only images but also music and video that would otherwise clog an email service.
They have tested this service for four months, and after a beta test and evaluation period, myfabrik.com is boasting of a sleek user interface and rich feature set.
It’s open to the general public now through a free basic account and subscription-based premium accounts.
