Minox Germany Unveils DC 8011 Compact Camera

Germany’s Minox DC 8011 features an 8.0 megapixel CCD sensor, electronic face detection feature and image stabilizer, 4x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch TFT color display.

This pocket-sized compact measures in at a comfortable 94×55x24mm and weighs just 132 grams. It comes in an anodized black aluminum body.

Its multicoated MINOCTAR lens gives a 28mm equivalent wide angle of view. In the optional 16:9 mode this short focal length is ideal for wide-format photography. The Minox 8011 also features an electronic anti-shake function.

The new camera retails for €180 or about $280 US.
