Minolta Light Meters Re-Appearing with the Kenko Brand?

Kenko KFM-2100 Light Meter

Kenko of Japan has unveiled three light meters with uncanny resemblance to Minolta light meters.

Two new digital light meters – the KFM-1100 and KFM-2100 (shown above) which are equipped with a 270-degree rotating receptor head – read incident light from EV-2.0 to EV-19.9; both also measure flash lighting.

The KCM-3100 is a handheld digital color meter that can read red, green and blue (RGB) incident light between EV-3.0 and EV-16.3. Its rotating receptor head swivels 90 degrees to the right and 180 degrees to the left. It can also meter flash lighting with or without a sync cord connection.

All three Kenko branded light meters will be available in July with the following MSRP: KFM-1100, $500; KFM-2100 $800; KCM-3100, $1800.
