Manfrotto Distribution Emerges from Bogen Imaging

Manfrotto Distribution is the new name for Bogen Imaging. It’s just a name change for faster brand recall; Bogen Imaging (now Manfrotto Distribution) has always been a part of the Vitec Group which also owns the Manfrotto brand.

With the name change, the Vitec Group hopes to address the fast growing amateur, high-end P&S and Four Thirds chip DSLR camera sectors, with a unified branding, while also maintaining focus on the enthusiast and professional photography and video markets that it is known for.

The move is intended to capitalise on Manfrotto’s international reputation and to enable development of new products and product categories. Bogen Imaging became Manfrotto Distribution from January 1, 2010 in all of its territories; Germany, France, Italy, UK, Japan and the USA.
