Logitech NuLooq: Your Mouse’s Best Friend?

Logitech NuLOOQ

Mouse maker Logitech has come up with a product so new that you still don’t know how to use it. But it looks easy enough to learn.

Logitech calls this the NuLOOQ navigator, and says it could be your mouse’s best friend. With it, you’ll do a two-handed operation tweaking your graphics or your publication; one hand with the mouse, the other with this navigator.

And why would you do that? Because it makes working in Photoshop CS2 a breeze, like adjusting your brush size in one pixel increments without ever moving a slider or clicking on a shortcut key. In Adobe InDesign CS2 you can fine-tune font attributes such as leading and tracking without using the option bar. And many more.

Built into the device are a multi-dimensional ring, called the navring for simultaneous 360 degree pan and zoom and a touch sensitive circular disk, called the tooltuner for fine precision control.

Now you can have a secondary controller, which allows you to zoom, change brush sizes and much more in Photoshop CS2 with one touch. Looks like it could be fun to use.

Available now for $80 from Logitech.
