Liquid Image Introduces Digital Underwater Camera Mask

Liquid Image Digital Underwater Camera Mask

One of the new gadgets to be on display at CES 2008, Jan. 7-10 in Las Vegas, is the Liquid Image Digital Underwater Camera Mask. It’s a pair of diving goggles with a digital camera built right in.

You can dive with it and take photos or videos of your underwater adventure. It has crosshairs etched on its glass to guide your shooting and 16MB of internal memory so you can take a few photos right away. You can of course add more memory via its microSD card slot.

The $100 goggles/camera is powered by AAA batteries and is available in 3.1 and 5.0 megapixel versions. The 5MP adult version can take you up to 30 meters deep, the 3.1MP model can dive up to 5 meters only. The new underwater camera is slated to be in stores in the spring.
