Lightroom Sucks, Says Photographer

Lightroom Icon

This guy here does not like Adobe Lightroom. He says it’s slow and its image editing toolset is very limited.

Photographer Paul Butzi said on his website that Lightroom even has silly limitations like the 10K pixel limit that prevent him from using it for all his images.

He describes Lightroom as “a bigger, more powerful browser with excellent keywording, grouping, etc. and with features (like the slideshow stuff and printing stuff) that I never, ever use.”

The one saving grace though is its much improved Camera Raw which now features highlight and shadow recovery and other things, but Paul says he’ll get this anyway when he upgrades his Photoshop.

In all, he concludes that Lightroom is not quite ready yet for primetime. You agree?
