Light Crafts Releases Updated LightZone 2.4

LightZone is a purpose-built photo editing application that complements Adobe Creative Suite’s pixel-based editing with more intelligent photo-editing functionality. It makes Photoshop even better.

“While Adobe has made a name for itself in graphic design, its 20-year old pixel-based technology ignores photographic knowledge that can make photo-editing so much more powerful,” says Georges van Hoegaerden, CEO of Light Crafts.

Light Crafts has updated LightZone to version 2.4 now to include the most recent innovations in digital image processing. With the new version, users can now instantly and easily re-light virtually any image with a single slider.

The company said the new version can also create more vivid pictures, with a new vibrance control and turn images into great Black-and-Whites with a single strength control.

LightZone 2.4 is currently available for $200 to eligible Adobe CS1, CS2 and CS3 (any version of CS3) users. After July 30, the price reverts to the regular $250.
