At Photokina 2010, Leica unveiled the special edition M9 Titanium designed in collaboration with car designer Walter de’Silva. Production of the M9 Titanium will be limited to only 500 cameras and it will be offered worldwide as a set including a LEICA SUMMILUX-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH. lens, also made of solid titanium.

In addition to the camera and lens, Leica said the M9 Titanium special edition set includes a distinctive shoulder holster, a carrying strap and finger loops in two different sizes, made from the same premium Audi leather used on the camera body.

The M9 Titanium set will retail for £19,800 or about $31,000.
