At the Photo Plus Expo in New York, Lasolite has introduced its HLite backdrop, a self-contained 5×7 foot background that can hold a single backlight.
The HLite backlit backdrop enables portrait photographers to shoot in an immaculately clean white background for high-key portraits. It provides an evenly-lit surface while allowing the subject to stand as close as 16 inches from the background without casting a shadow.
A white vinyl train can be attached to extend the white surface to the floor. The HLite folds into a small disc when not in use.
