Kodak will stop making black and white paper

Kodak logo

First Nikon announced they will all but cut production of film cameras and now Kodak is going to halt production of black and white photographic paper according to this article in PDN. The company indicated that it is part of their digital strategy and is an effort to focus on more profitable markets. This comes just days after announcing their new logo.

These are transitional times for photography and photographers. I’ll miss those chemical smells.
