Maybe this is what Kodak needs to boost the marketing of its printing solutions. Its all-in-one inkjet printers, which are really not that bad, did not exactly take the consumer printer market by a storm despite the printers’ promise of lower-cost printing.
Marketing guru and now TV show host Donald Trump will feature Kodak on his “The Celebrity Apprentice†series on January 17, challenging the star contestants to create and operate a mobile printing station showcasing Kodak Products.
The celebrity contestants include Piers Morgan , Stephen Baldwin, Nely Galán, Jennie Finch, Lennox Lewis, Carol Alt, Marilu Henner, Gene Simmons, Vincent Pastore, Trace Adkins, Nadia Comaneci (fired), Tito Ortiz, Tiffany Fallon and Omarosa.
They will not be looking for a job with Donald Trump, but the business-savvy celebrity contestants will be working towards a bigger goal: to raise over a million dollars for their various charities.
Thursday’s show promises to be fun and entertaining. It could also be a promising PR move for Kodak so that, after all, we don’t have to tell the struggling giant, “You’re fired!â€
