Kodak EasyShare M753 Digital Camera

Kodak today unleashed six new cameras for the style-conscious consumer (one of them is a bit ugly, though, but quite powerful).

Kodak launched four models in the EasyShare M-Series, namely, the M753, M853, M873 and M883 which should all appeal to the style/value segment of the market with prices that range from $150 to $230. This from a company who recently said they’re getting out of the low-end of the digital camera business. Maybe this is high-end now?

Well, if you look closely at the specs, you could argue that Kodak’s new cameras have high-end features with low-end prices (wink, wink..). The new M-series cameras feature 7 and 8 megapixels with 2.5-inch or 3.0-inch LCD screens.

Also announced today are the new Kodak EasyShare Z1275 and ZD710 Zoom Digital Cameras. The Z1275 is a small sized high-zoom digital camera, offering 12-megapixel imaging and 5x optical zoom and other advanced features. The 7-megapixel ZD710 – the ugly duckling in the family – is a versatile, fully-automatic zoom digital camera with 10x optical zoom and high ISO.
