Kingston DataTraveler Secure USB Flash Drives Now Available in 8GB Capacity
Kingston Technology Co. has announced that its DataTraveler Secure and DataTraveler Secure - Privacy Edition USB 2.0 flash drives are now available in 8GB capacities.
“Secure” in its name means these flash drives are made of industrial-grade titanium-coated stainless steel casings that are also waterproof to depths up to 4ft. It also means hardware encryption and a complex password protocol to protect its data.
The standard 8GB DataTraveler Secure sells for $282 and the Privacy Edition $350. Full details of Kingston announcement here.
