iView Automates Photo Submissions to Getty Images

iView Multimedia Ltd. has announced the availability of the Getty Images iView Submission utility, a plug-in for iView MediaPro to automate the photo submission process.

Getty Images is a leading provider of imagery, film and digital services, while iView Multimedia is a wholly-owned Microsoft subsidiary that produces the cross-platform digital asset management tool iView MediaPro used by professional photographers to catalog and present large volumes and varieties of digital images.

The Getty Images iView Submission plug-in works by automating two key processes: 1) it validates photographers’ images in terms of metadata and other image attributes that match Getty’s submission standards, and 2) it creates submission packages together with metadata summaries and release forms according to Getty specifications.
