Iridient Digital, Inc. has released RAW Developer 1.7.2, an update to its Raw image processing software for Mac OS X. The new version features support for several new camera models and fixes several bugs introduced in the previous 1.7.1 release.
Newly supported camera models include the Ricoh GR Digital II, the Panasonic DMC-L10 and all recent Hasselblad backs and cameras. Issues with potential application freezes or crashes when rapidly switching from image to image have been resolved and this release also fixes support for Nikon D300 and D3 NEF files specifically in 14 bit, uncompressed format. Numerous improvements and fixes have been made for Sigma X3F format files including additional noise reduction options and hot/dead pixel filter support.
RAW Developer 1.7.2 is a free update for all currently registered users, new licenses are $125.00 US. RAW Developer requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later and is a universal binary application which natively supports PowerPC G4, G5 and Intel processors.
