I just recently discovered the OptikVerve Labs plug-in called virtualPhotographer. What virtualPhotographer does is allow you to quickly sample and then apply common effect templates to your photos. For example if you have a flat boring photo that you want to enhance, you can simply open the file in Photoshop and choose the virtualPhotographer filter. This will allow you to see a sample of what your photo will look like with any of the 50 or so presets they’ve set up for you. You can also do a lot with the custom feature.
