Getty Images Launches Podcast for Award-Winning Photographers

Getty Images, Inc. is mighty proud that its photographers have earned more than 80 awards and top honors over the past year from a variety of the most prestigious industry organizations, including the Overseas Press Club (OPC), National Professional Photographers Association (NPPA), Pictures of the Year International and World Press Photo.

According to the company, more than 30 editorial photographers received awards in a broad range of categories – spot news, domestic and international news, nature and environment, sports feature and action, portraiture as well as a new category, multimedia.

To honor the work of its photographers, Getty Images has developed an on-going series of podcasts featuring interviews with some of its award-winners sharing their experiences behind their imagery. The podcasts, which include a recent discussion with John Moore who recently won the Robert Capa Gold Medal from the OPC, two first-place World Press Photo Awards, among many other awards and accolades for his coverage of the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
