Stock photo distributor Getty Images has tweaked its Web site, boosted its search engine, made navigation easier and faster and re-launched the whole thing.

Getty says the redesign and refinements were based on feedback from stock image buyers.

The main addition to the Getty portal is a new search tool called Catalyst, where users can refine their search for images by adding or subtracting keywords simply by dragging into either of two boxes, one with a plus sign and another with a minus sign.

But the whole revamp does not deliver 100% satisfaction, there are a few more things that need attention, according to PDN Online.
