Gary Fong’s Lightsphere Debuts in Manila

Gary Fong Lightsphere Diffuser

Internationally renowned photographer Gary Fong has introduced his Lightsphere diffuser at the on-going Photo World Manila 2007 at the Glorietta Mall in Manila.

The Lightsphere is a flash diffuser that lights up the entire room to soften the images, unlike most diffusers that point the light like a flashlight. It eliminates shadows and makes flash invisible, and does not require cumbersome flash brackets.

Photo World Manila 2007, which runs up to tomorrow February 6, is a week-long photography trade show organized by the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF).

Strange to see a product I carry in my bag “debut”, but in any case, I love this thing for situations where you’d be stuck with direct flash. It does the trick.
