Fujifilm Launches FinePix S2800HD Long Zoom Hybrid

Fujifilm FinePix S2800HD Long Zoom Digital Camera

The Fujifilm FinePix S2800HD is billed as the world’s smallest 18X zoom lens compact camera and promises top image quality consistently.

It sports a 14-megapixel CCD sensor and a feature set that includes 720p HD movie and Full 1080p HD still image capture. Zoom range of the S2800HD is 28-504mm using a Fujinon lens.

The new camera also touts its new Panoramic shooting mode that claims to eliminate the risk of uneven landscapes or shaky horizons. Simply select Panorama mode and start shooting then, align the + symbol into the circle and the shutter will automatically release to seamlessly stitch the shots together in-camera.

The FinePix S2800HD will be available in early September with a $260 retail price tag.
