Prices are dropping for Fujifilm’s FinePix F30 and F20. Fujifilm USA says the F30 may now be sold at $329 and the F20 at $229, MSRP (manufacturer’s suggested retail price). That usually means street prices could even be lower.
Both cameras earned favorable reviews when they came out because of their feature sets and good image quality especially in low light conditions. The F30, in particular, broke new ground in digital photography in July this year when it became the first compact camera to capture full-resolution images at ISO 3200.
The F20, for its part, did away with aperture and shutter priority modes but retained its excellent qualities as a point-and-shoot compact camera.
