Fuji Gets Dealers to Offer Images on Postage Stamps

Fujifilm has signed up retail photo dealers to sell postage stamps online featuring personalized images of the buyers. Putting a personal photo onto post office stamps has been authorized by the U.S. Postal Service since 2005, but this is the first time that photo dealers have come into the program.

Fuji’s website www.yourstamps.com, which went live last Jan. 30, is now accepting orders for the personalized stamps through one of its listed dealers.

Fuji has partnered with Pitney Bowes, one of only three firms licensed by the postal service to print the personalized stamps, for order fulfillment at its Shelton, Conn. facility.

A single sheet of 20, 39-cent stamps with the image is being sold for $17.99; two sheets, $16.99 each; a quantity of 3-9 sheets $15.99, each; 10-24 sheets, $14.99. An order takes 2-4 business days.
