Fromm Works Launches New Quik Pod DSLR

The Quik Pod can now support DSLR cameras with the introduction of a bigger stick. While the original Quik Pod for compact cameras extends from 8 to 18 inches, the Quik Pod DSLR telescopes from 18 to 53 inches, giving photographers an extra 4 feet of extended reach.

The Quik Pod enables users to take self photos by mounting the camera on its socket. The Quik Pod DSLR expands its utility by also offering other uses like extending your overhead vantage point or providing an off-camera base for a slave flash.

While it may seem that loading a big heavy DSLR at the end of a Quik Pod could be a bit strenuous, its maker Fromm Works thoughtfully included a gel pad – along with other accessories – to provide a comfortable fulcrum for the stick against the user’s hip.

The Quik Pod DSLR can also be used as a monopod to steady the camera during shoots.
