Angry Sarkozy

Word from Paris says the French journalists’ union has asked President Nicolas Sarkozy to apologize publicly for losing his cool when photographed by two newsmen during his holiday vacation in the U.S.

“Calm down, Monsieur Sarkozy,” the statement published in Paris said.

While on a boat trip last Sunday, the French president clashed with the photographers of two US news agencies, when he climbed into their boat and started berating them in French.

“Sarkozy – of all people, someone who had so often availed himself of the media – was now complaining about being too much in the limelight,” the statement said.
