Sony has added four new models to its Cyber-shot line of compact digital cameras: the DSC-W55, DSC-W35, DSC-S700 and DSC-S650.
The DSC-W55 and DSC-W35 are slim models with 7.2 megapixels and Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lenses. These stylish compacts retained the optical viewfinder for easy framing, combining it with large LCD screens, 2.5†for the W55 and 2.0†for the W35.
The DSC-S700 and DSC-S650 heftier cameras also feature 7.2 megapixels and rely solely on their LCD screens for framing and viewing.
All four new models feature 3x optical zoom capability and blur-reduction technologies via ISO. These new models feature quick start-up, fast shot-to-shot times, and long battery life, according to Sony.
