Elecom: 11-in-One Card Readers to Dub ‘Ya

Elecom 11-in-One Card Readers

Heard of card dubbing? That’s the process of duplicating data by copying it directly onto another card. Heard of Elecom? Those are the Japanese guys who make this sort of card readers/copiers. The Elecom MR-C10 and MR-C11 are card readers that can take in 11 types of memory cards and read them onto your PC or copy them directly card-to-card.

The MR-C11, top photo, comes in a compact enclosure and can read and write to MMC, SD, SDHC, MS, MS Pro, MS Duo, xD, miniSD, microSD cards, plus two more with adapters. It has just one type of slot, both ends, to take in all those cards. No more fumbling which goes to where. Simple, no? Yes, it can handle today’s faster flash cards too.

The MR-C10, lower photo, is even more compact and can dub directly between SD, SDHC and MS cards. No CompactFlash card support.

In various colors, the MR-C11 sells for about $22; the MR-C10 for $20.
